It was not her he loved (Part 5)
The party sucked. And it was not because Aaron was not present, but well for starters, the DJ was bad, shockingly outdated. The food was not her type. The people were desperate for sex. It was not the kind of thing she liked. But overall, her night was tremendous. They (her best friends, Nathan’s friends and herself) left the party as soon as they could and landed themselves at a club. It was their usual nightclub where fun awaited. They would do the wackiest manias, dare themselves to the most hostile thing on earth and still get away with it, but it was always fun. They, were known as the adventurous crowd.
Today, one of the girls, Ariana, was dared to start a real, wild, intense cat fight with the hottest woman in the club, who was also wearing the cleanest white, gorgeous-looking dress. Ah! It was indeed a very pretty sight. She went up to the hottest woman, Aubrey, and did the gruesome, most painful action to watch, especially if it was a gorgeous looking, die for white dress. She accidentally, well supposedly accidentally, poured red wine on that beautiful dress. Everyone saw that happen. The ones who had not seen it, learnt from others reactions, and turned their attention to the center of attraction.
“Oh my god, look at what you’ve done. Bitch!” Aubrey snapped furiously, looking at her stained dress. There was a large red mark on her dress and it was diffusing rapidly. She looked at Ariana with the eyes of a murderer. “Oh! I’m sorry. Didn’t see it coming!” Ariana spoke babishly. She was a born actor. Exceptionally good. “Oh my god, you are sorry! Look at my white dress. It is red now.” She spoke with pure bitterness and pointed at her dress. “Well, I’m sorry. I did not honestly see it coming.” Ariana spoke sincerely. She was quite convincing. Aubrey spat every word she said, “Hmm…you will definitely see this coming”, and took her hand, and slapped Ariana, nearly. Ariana saw it coming and held Aubrey’s hand, and this time spoke with attitude, “I said I’m sorry. I did not see it coming. Well, you are not going to accept my apology, then this, is for you.” And slapped Aubrey, right across her cheek. Aubrey looked at her with fury, and tried to hit Ariana, but then Ariana’s reaction was even faster. She held her hand and pushed her. Aubrey knocked onto her best friends lightly. She was livid. She came back right at her and pulled her hair with all her might. Ariana screamed in pain. She could not do anything. She tried wriggling, but Aubrey was too tough.
Meanwhile, everyone else at the club, stopped what they had been doing and watched the wild cat fight. Some wanted the fighters to stop. Others wanted it to continue. These were the maniacs who enjoyed the wildness of woman cat fights. Few of them were Vivienne, Cassie, Nathan and their daring gang of friends. Cassie shouted from one end, “C’mon Ariana. Kick some butt!” She laughed. And so did Vivienne.
Back at the fight, Aubrey grabbed Ariana’s hair in such a way that her enemy’s face would turn to face her, and spoke coolly, “Now, bitch, who’s the boss? Well, no one messes with me!” And this time around, she slapped Ariana. Ariana got ticked off really easily. She thought, This is it, bitch, and held Aubrey’s hand and twisted it. Now, it was Aubrey’s turn to scream in pain. Ariana looked at her, one last look and hit her twice on her chest, and last, slapped her hard on her face. This made Aubrey stare at her with eyes wide open. She felt humiliated. She knew this woman was not planning to ever give up, so she just grabbed her jacket and her purse, stared at Ariana and said, “This isn’t over”, and walked out of the club. Her sidekicks followed.
Some people applauded for Ariana’s victory, others gave a boo sound to Aubrey as she left. Everyone at the club knew the adventurous gang, the daring, most dangerous women and men. And anyone in their right mind, would not mess with the divas. Cassie hugged Ariana as she came. Their friends, Livia, Aundrea, Scott, Jason, Owen and Luke, all laughed their heads off. Some had even tears in their eyes. “That was the best cat fight I’ve seen you fight. Whoa!” Luke commented, still laughing. Ariana looked mad and wasted, but she finally gave in and laughed. It was a worth a good laugh. They had such a superb time after a very long period. And, Vivienne had a great time. She felt alive again. She knew she could survive anything and everything. With friends like hers, she knew she could yet live again.
She was a survivor.
She got home at three in the morning the next day, very content and exhausted. They had danced the night away, played a bit more of their dares, and finally left for home. She got into her pair of blue shorts and a white tube top, and went to bed. As soon as she kept her head on the pillow, she fell asleep. And she dreamt, about…
