Loved and Lost…

Dedicated to my first official BESTEST friend for life- Anushya Naomi Christopher.

I still don’t quite remember the day we met,

But the moments we’ve shared, I’ll never forget.

I’m writing you this from the bottom of my heart,

Because deep down inside, I never really wanted to part.

I wanna take the time to thank you for keeping me strong,

And letting me know when the things I did were wrong.

I’ll always remember you as my best friend,

And secretly hope one day we’ll meet before the end.

We once had made a promise- best friends forever..!

And that promise I’ll forget never.

You can always expect me to be there,

Always waiting to drop down and care.

Do you remember all those late night talks?

Or the lousy lunch breaks and the late night walks??

Do you remember we swore friends we would be?

I hope you don’t forget me along the way,

I need you, don’t you see??

So as I write this last line and get ready to go,

My eyes have filled and the tears are starting to flow….
